I'm based in Denver Colorado and I love to take advantage of our beautiful mountains! I will scout, and choose a location (typically in a natural setting) based on your family's style, interests, and input.

Lighting is everything in photography; and the timing of shoot is always based around lighting! Outdoor sessions will take place 1-2 hours before sunset, while indoor sessions will usually be best between 10am-1pm.

Your style is a setting you carry with you, and it’s an essential part of bringing your photos to life! The colors, fabric texture, and movement of your clothes will all play an important role in getting the most out of your family photos. So all of my clients receive personalized styling assistance.
My trusted formula uses a palette of about three colors that compliment each other, but aren’t too “matchy matchy”. Generally, solid colors are best. Though one or two people in patterns can be very effective (avoiding small stripes). Soft, neutral, or warm colors in earth tones, and muted tones are ideal (avoiding excessive whites).
We can also mix it up with textures like knits, thermal wear, or henley to go even deeper than the colors; and fun accessories like hats or dangly earrings can add a modern twist, and a sassy flair to your images. All giving you the finishing touches on your unique style. Most importantly: we’ll pick an outfit that you feel perfectly comfortable, and beautiful when you wear it. When you feel amazing, you look amazing!

After our shoot is complete, timely delivery of your photos is my top priority! Once I’ve finished the editing process you will receive an online gallery link with all of your photos within six weeks of the shoot (usually less). Directly from that gallery you’ll be able to download photos, create a list of your favorites, share them, and even order prints and cards!
